Do I need prior surfing or foiling experience?

Not at all! One of the best things about E-foiling is its accessibility. At Efoil Punta Cana about 90% of our students are up and flying within their first 30-minute session. If you have experience in board sports (surfing, kiteboarding, or skating), you might progress faster, but beginners are welcome and highly successful!

Is it hard to learn?

It is much easier than traditional surfing or kitesurfing. Because you control the speed with a handheld Bluetooth remote, you can find your balance at your own pace. Our instructors stay close to provide real-time coaching to ensure you feel confident.

Is E-foiling safe?

Safety is our #1 priority. We provide all students with a buoyancy aid (life vest) and a helmet. We also start every lesson with a thorough land-based briefing to explain the equipment and safety protocols before we ever hit the water.

How long does a session last?

Our standard introductory sessions are 90 minutes. This includes the land briefing and plenty of time in the water to find your "flight."

What kind of equipment do you use?

We pride ourselves on using brand-new, top-of-the-line industry leaders Duotone gear. Our boards are stable, responsive, and maintained to the highest professional standards. High-quality gear makes a massive difference in how quickly you learn to fly.

Where are the lessons held?

Our primary base is at the beautiful Pearl Beach Club in Cabeza de Toro. It offers the perfect flat-water conditions for beginners and a world-class beach club atmosphere for friends or family who want to watch from the shore.

Can my family come along?

Absolutely! Our location at Pearl Beach Club is very family-friendly. Your family can enjoy the beach, pool, and restaurant facilities while you are out on the water. It’s the perfect "win-win" for a vacation day.
